THE GROUND RULES

Keep it playful. Keep it kind.

These Terms explain the deal between you and InviMood. The short version: make good invitations, respect the people receiving them, and do not use a cute product for harmful things.

Effective August 5, 2026
01

The joke stays a joke

Playful buttons never remove anyone’s real-world freedom to decline or ignore a plan.

02

You own your words

You keep ownership of the invitation content you create.

03

Not a reservation service

An RSVP or calendar action does not book a table, venue, ticket, or transportation.

1. Accepting these Terms

By creating, managing, opening, or answering an InviMood, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice. If you use InviMood for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for it.

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you are a minor under the law where you live, use InviMood only with the permission and supervision required by that law.

2. What the service does

InviMood lets hosts create interactive invitation pages and lets guests reply, vote, and add confirmed plans to a calendar. Features may vary by invitation type and may change as the product develops.

A guest does not need an account. A host account may be required to save, edit, close, duplicate, or review invitations and responses.

3. Accounts and invitation links

You are responsible for activity in your host account and for keeping access to it secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone gained unauthorized access.

Public invitation links are meant to be shared, but they are not passwords. Do not put highly sensitive, confidential, financial, health, or identity information in an invitation or response. Share host-only links and controls only with people you trust.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use InviMood to break the law, threaten or harass someone, impersonate another person, deceive people about an event, distribute malware, collect information without a lawful purpose, send abusive spam, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another host’s data.

Playful persuasion is part of the experience, but consent outside the page is always real. A moving ‘No’ button is a joke, not permission to pressure, retaliate against, or ignore the boundaries of another person.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit. You give InviMood a limited, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, format, and display that content only as needed to provide, protect, and improve the service.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for the names, images, copy, event details, and other content you submit. You are responsible for your content and the people with whom you share it.

6. RSVPs, votes, and calendars

Responses reflect what a guest submitted at that moment. InviMood cannot guarantee identity, attendance, availability, accuracy, or that a person will follow through.

Calendar links and files are convenience tools. Hosts and guests remain responsible for confirming the final date, time, time zone, location, capacity, cost, tickets, reservations, and any change to the plan.

7. Free, Pro, and billing

Free includes up to five published InviMoods per calendar month, two invitations collecting replies at the same time, and a reply window of up to 30 days per invitation. Closing an invitation frees a live slot, but does not restore a monthly publication. The real-world event may occur after the reply window closes.

Each eligible Free account may publish one invitation with the included Pro experience without entering a card. The one-time use is consumed only when that invitation is published, not when the editor or preview is opened.

A paid Pro subscription begins only after the account holder clearly confirms the price and payment in Stripe Checkout. Promotional first-month and founder-year prices apply once per eligible account and do not stack unless the offer expressly says otherwise.

Before payment, Checkout identifies the selected currency, amount, monthly or annual interval, and recurring nature of the subscription. Automatic renewals remain subject to any advance-notice and cancellation rights that mandatory law provides.

The first paid Pro purchase is eligible for a refund when the account holder requests it within seven calendar days of that initial purchase. Renewals are refundable only for a duplicate or incorrect charge, when required by law, or when InviMood expressly agrees otherwise. The complete policy is available on the Refunds page.

A cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Existing invitations and replies are not deleted, and published Pro designs remain intact. An open-ended Pro reply window may close no later than 30 days after Pro access ends. If the account exceeds Free limits afterward, new publication or reopening is blocked until usage returns within the Free rules.

8. International access, availability, and product changes

InviMood is designed for international access. We do not currently block ordinary access solely because of a person’s country and we do not prohibit lawful use of a VPN. Using a VPN does not change these Terms, the laws that apply to you, or our security and abuse controls.

We may add, remove, limit, or change features; address security or abuse; perform maintenance; or restrict access where law, sanctions, provider availability, safety, or technical conditions reasonably require it. Features may vary by location, and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

9. Suspension and removal

We may restrict or remove content or access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or secure the service. Hosts may close invitations, and may request deletion through the privacy contact.

10. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, InviMood is provided ‘as available’ without warranties that every feature will always be error-free or fit every event. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, InviMood is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from plans, guest conduct, third-party services, lost links, incorrect event details, or decisions made from an RSVP or vote. Each person remains responsible for real-world safety and choices.

11. Changes and applicable law

We may update these Terms as InviMood changes. Continuing to use the service after an updated version becomes effective means accepting the updated Terms where permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Mexico. This choice does not remove mandatory consumer, privacy, procedural, or other protections that apply where you live, including any non-waivable right to bring a claim before a competent local authority or court.
